I like Byleth as well, though I played both male and female versions and while I maybe misremembering. I did get that arc or at least it was more clear from the female version. Female Byleth is just far more emotive than her male counterpart and seems tailor made for the Azure Moon route, as her romance with Dimitri is very well done. As such, I'm sorry but I doubt that its simply just her looks for why people like her.

Robin is my favorite Fire Emblem character, not just avatar and while I'll admit that over the years I have started to take his character development and journey in Awakening for granted, its not for the reasons you bring up. I am utterly fascinated by how it is strongly implied that Robin's mother tried to save him by taking him to Elibe (ergo Mark and Robin is one and the same) and how Corrin is heavily implied to be a previous life of Robin. The expanded narrative for Robin, especially with the inclusion of Blazing Sword, just brings so much to the table in a bittersweet way.

I was not into Mario RPG's. Since I always prefer Mainline Platformer Mario games. But my gosh both Super Mario RPG Remake/Original and Paper Mario TTYD Remake were amazing to play!!!! Hype for Mario & Luigi BS!!!

Im so excited but scared at the same time they could f it up once again. Back in the day, DbFz knocked out of the park and was truly a love letter to fans, thats what i would want for MvC4, treat us with love and care for fans. Personally i dislike 3d games and thats where dbfz made magic for me making it look like real anime, id like a "drawing" style, maybe cellshading comics back again or id even accept sprites but 3d makes it so meh and kinda soulless

Couldn't agree more with everything that was said. Robin's the one character I find most relatable out of all the fiction I've ever consumed, and I think the writers did a fantastic job at making them relatable to most people since they assumed the player would be into tactics and strategy if they were playing such a game in the first place. Awakening was my first FE game, and I was largely unaware of the support mechanic beforehand, which is now one of my favourite features of modern FE games. I think my fondness of the support mechanic grew over time in a similar way to Robin's relationships with their friends and allies, and it inspired me to change as a person -- I value my time with other people irl a lot more now than before Awakening, as corny as that sounds. From Robin and Chrom's first meeting to their final parting, it somehow felt like I had experienced an entire person's life -- and a fulfilling one at that -- from the game alone. There'll never be another character like Robin.

Paper Mario TTYD is one of the most charming and heartfelt games I've ever played. It oozes with personality and engagement. It might even be one of my favorite Mario games of all time after playing TTYD Remake. Glad to see you really enjoyed the game

I’m glad you loved it, i loved it too. I had to wait 12 years to play Thousand Year Door due to having a late model wii and my gamecube breaking before i could get it. So the announcement and my chance to complete the trilogy of the first 3 made me really happy, and honestly as of right now this is probably my favorite switch game i own

My problem: it felt like you were blaming overpowered characters facing feetless character all on AR? A lot of the characters are recommended or written completely different, which makes it really hard to do a far fight. Multiple times you said that CFC should be like death battle whitch is the dumbs thing to say. Also you didn't do much research when talking, the reason why cfc does rematch is so there would be preptime, outside help, and other things or different version/ forms/ incarnation

i think the reason for the decline in humor is somewhat to do with youtube itself, it just started to get all family friendly to the point where you have to get rid of any offensive jokes, they dont have to be funny all the time but simple cringe jokes just keep me un entertained. Reasons why Magma Mine is the best board from 9: Any board with a mechanic where opponents can lose stars balances out the Star economy well, and this is the best board to to it, because both with the bobomb and with the boos, someone can get screwed over for existing, but with the magma, you can generally always plan around it, as it comes up at a constant rate of 2 or so spaces per turn. Being able to influence the direction of the car while moving is great, and it’s criminal that it wasn’t included in other boards. The music is a banger It has the 2 of the best boss mini games, both spike and chain chomp are a nice difficulty spike, but if you can react in time, you will never be in trouble. All the bowser spaces at the end can come in handy if you really need a comeback. One of the only boards where the crappy 123 dice block actually can be helpful, however, boos horror castle and bobomb factory uses them better. That one path that leads to the right instead of up is funny, and is the perfect option for people who embrace chaos. Yeah, magma mine is the best board in Mario party 9.
